Ever since you were very young you have had to wake up early in the mouring (sometime between 5:45-7:30) to go sit in a classroom all day and listen to adults "teach" and your supposed to "learn". And while through like 4th or 5th grade you do learn because you generally dont have a choice past sixth grade is a waste of time. All people care about is grades. They don't pay attention to what they are learning and disregard it after they recieve a grade. Who gives a fuck if you get a good great. Big whoop. Im sure when you try to become a lawyer and you tell the fat bald guy interviewing you that you got a 97 on your bio midterm in 9th grade he will just hand you over 500 grand. HELL NO! Nobody gives a shit about how you do on tests. And if you don't give a shit about the work and they dont give a shit about your grade then what is the point. Is it busywork so we dont waste the prime years of our lives. I say school is a waste of the prime years of our lives. Sure there are some kids who work really hard and take this to be offensive because they put so much effort into it. But in 10 years from now nothing you did in highschool is going to matter at all. Who has memories on what they did acedemic wise when they were in highschool. Nobody I have ever met. But im sure when the police stop you on the street when you are a 26 year old working for a computer software company and someone asks you what the atomic mass of Barium is you will fail the test and be sent to an endless summerschool of busywork and shitty teachers wasting your time. Some of our teachers are the biggest retards to. One of them looks like a chinese monkey and we make a fool out of him all day. Another is a blind, deaf, fat and old man who we all take advantage of. Most people don't learn anything in school. They could propably learn more staying home, playing video game, reading magazines and surfing the net than they can in school. Then there are those kids who have extremely rich parents or are in a family that owns a buissiness. Why should they have to go to school. They should go to work with their family to learn their trade or they should just sit on their ass and do whatever the fuck they want because school is not going to affect the outcome of his life at all. People will only do schoolwork for a handful of reasons. 1. Parents wont shutup if they dont and people generally dont feel like listening to other people talk because other people are stupid. 2. They want a good grade so they can have a good future even though the grade will barely affect their future making this a shitty reason. 3. They are too stupid to do anything else. 4. They actually enjoy the learning which if you do then go for it. 5. They know they are stupid and need school to help them in life because they are hopeless without it. 6. They dont do their schoolwork because they are smart enough to realize that its not worth the time and effort. Overall school is a waste. The most productive thing I get out of school is basketball. Post some feedback guys cuz i gotta run i got tons more to write on this matter.....tell me some suggestions and what u think of what i got so far

i chose option 6
yes, i agree with pretty much all of this and most of you probably already know that. listen up all your honors students, WE ARE THE SMART ONES!! IT TAKES BRAINS TO FIGURE OUT THAT THIS WILL NOT EFFECT YOUR LIFE. YOU ARE NOT SMART! YOU ARE STUPID FOR THINKING THIS WAY! yeah. the real reason i dont work is because im not motivated. what motivates me? i keep telling my parents i will get straight A's (which i easily can if i study) if they buy me a car but they keep saying its too much money. the real motivation i have is playing on the basketball team so that makes me work just hard enough not to fail.

yet again, you score a ten on the moron scale. the critical thinking that you learn throughout school enables you to learn and act better later in life. if you don't care about your school, don't generalize that they don't matter in life. how come those who have been educated can get far in life, but those who havent cannot? be serious, school prepares you for life. just because you dont like what you're learning, doesnt make it that it isnt helping you. even the atomic mass of barium. it strengthens your mind and helps to prep those who inted to make a life out of science work and study. what do you think students should learn in school, huh? how to throw a jump-shot? no. school teaches you to learn so that one day you might be lucky enough to become that lawyer through hard work.

but why become a lawyer? do people actually enjoy working hard all day and getting just good money? there are so many high paying jobs that dont require a good education. i still have not figured out why doctors and lawyars are everyones "job to be". if you really want a good job, go into real estate. those are the multi millionares. and even the normal buisness man job, you dont need such a good education to be. all you need is a masters degree in the area of the occupation and know what your doing. if you want to be an engineer or an architect or an accountant or any other "normal" job, you dont really need to get straight A's in high school. having a B average and a 1200 on your SATs will get you into a state university and you can get your masters degree. my brother was a high school drop out and makes $40,000 a year at age 21 and has only been working for about a year now.

you said people who are educated go far in life but people who are not do not....you have to use some common sense....think about all the brilliant people out there who had no connections so they didn't do well and the people who didnt do SHIT in highschool who are millionairs. It has nothing to do with how educated you are. It is how smart you are and what connections you have. If you werent smart to begin with school cannot help you at all and is a total waste. And if you are smart then you dont even need school to begin with. School stops helping you after 4th or 5th grade because people don't naturally know how to spell or read or add. But once you get passed that there is no need to build on useless knowledge. You should become an aprentice to something you know your going to want to be so that you will only have to focus on the knowledge that is necessary for you.

well i dont know how far ss3 was going in his post but what i mean is you dont need to work hard in school. people who stay up untill 1 in the morning studying for a test is just stupid and people who cry if they get a 70 on a test. i dont work at all in school and i am still able to get a low B average. with that and a 1200+ on my SATs, i can easily get into a 4 year college meaning i get a masters degree. honestly, people dont go to school to get an "education" people go to school to be rich when they get older but nowadays, there are so many jobs where you dont need to work your ass off to get. for example, there is a teacher at my school who is probably the smartest human being i know and he probably makes under 100k a year. thats stupid. hes incredibly smart and he teachers at a jewish private school. he can probably be working as a scientist for the government and he choses to be a teacher. i dont get these people.

now that i see supersaiyans new post, i agree on that. people 100 years ago who lived on farms got educated untill 10 years old and then started working on the farm. they started working at such a young age because they knew that when they got older they would just become a farmer so they started early. now we learn so much crap that will not help is in life. as you said ezrider, what will knowing the atomic mass or barium help us? if we're a scientist it will help us, thats why we should chose what we want to be and then get started. college does exactly that, you major in what you want to be and learn that the majority of the time. high school takes all the subjects and teaches it to us when we wont be using any of them except for possibly one of them. we should be like public schools and have some kind of auto shop class because more people will be auto mechanics than mathematicians or historians. we shouldnt be learning history or math, we should be learning how to fix cars.

ss3, you must be living in a world where black is white and up is down, and all people who dont work ever are wildly successful, but i dont live in that world. who is feeding you this garbage that not working automatically equates to success and vice versa?! seriously, seek help.

i did not say once that not working gaurentees you succes and working gaurentees failure. I responded to your comment by YOU saying that everyone who works hard does well and everyone that doesnt is a bum. Which is wrong. I stated "think about all the brilliant people out there who had no connections so they didn't do well and the people who didnt do SHIT in highschool who are millionairs"......so that blows your first statement. Second of all getting good grades in school has nothing to do with how smart you are and how succesful you will be in life. Yes it does give you more oppurtunities but that still does not make the system right. It is a terrible system. Schools should teach students math up to a certain point. I say math should be mandatory up to algebra 1 because those are necessary skills for almost anything you do in life and algebra is propably one of the best subjects to build your logic. Besides for a few exceptions you should get to choose what you learn
