is it just me, or is conversation a load of bullshit?! only if you are really close with someone will you have a real conversation. otherwise, everyone is just waiting until the other person stops talking so they can put in their two cents. im not saying that i dont do it, because everyone does, no matter how much they hate it. i just find it really disturbing that this is how our brains function. also, i've noticed something. when talking with someone, whenever people run out of things to say and their is a silence, people feel the need to break the silence by complaining; whether it be about the weather, a pain, anything. do people have a deep-seeded fear of silence, needing to keep a conversation going by making stupid small talk that goes nowhere?

the worst thing is when someone you dont like stops you and says "hey hows it goin...we havnt talked in a while lets talk" but you dont care about them and dont give a flying fuck about what they have to say. Makes me wanna lose my mind.

hoyl shit, ur right but i never thought od it olike that. Everyone always complains when the conversation goes silent. always always always. Also, convdersation is all about opinion which i explained i my other post so there really isnt a thing such a conversations unless u like like that person. everyone does it so i guess we can complain about it.

Well, if you would read the post u would know. "cOnversations" always go the same way and people always complain and think they are having a conversation yet they are just trying to figure out when they can say something mean about someone else etc. they dont want to really talk, they want you to join their opinions and therefore, a conversation isnt really a conversation at all.

i got issues- u said a conversation is just peoples opinions. What da hell should a conversation be then? If conversations where just facts what would you need to talk to other people for. You could just have a computer tell you all the facts u ever wanted without you being subjected to an "opinion" of a person. Cause then you would be having a conversation, and that would be bad. "unless u like like that person" -i got issues. I guess that makes sense. If you like a person you can hear their opinions but if u dont like them they should spit out facts to you. And what are you doing having such deep conversations with people you really dont like?

i think you missed the point.....what he meant is nobody really is having a conversation to hear what the other person has to say but moreso to just say his own opinion to get other people to think the same way. Especially in school when there are a bunch of people talking....its just people waiting to say their opinion looking at every possible chance to....its so dissorderly but everyone does it

yea it sucks when people who obviously dont like you and you dotn like them also and they say that. its like there is a reason we havent talked in a long time! it b/c we arent friends anymore. its good to talk to people who arent relaly ur friends in classes sometimes about casusal things but you shouldnt have to keep a convo going for no reason. u cant isolate ur self from everyone but ur friends tho...
